The editors of Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, section Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (Andrea Banfi, Wolfgang Holnthoner, Mikaël M. Martino and Seppo Ylä-Herttuala) asked us to contribute to the research topic Vascularization for Regenerative Medicine.
