Changing the default to tree view in Konqueror

• Make the changes how you want to window to appear.
• Right-click on title bar, click “Store Window Settings”.
• Click “Settings” -> “Save View Profile” ->Select “File Management” from the list of available profiles -> “Save”.
• Close the window and reopen it to see that your settings stick.
