Did we publish in a predatory journal?

A sizable grey zone remains when separating journals into predatory and legitimate. Like most binary categorizations, this falls short as most things fall on a spectrum. Instead of over-analyzing the problem, we should remove the incentives to publish in such journals, such as the "publish-or-perish" culture. Science advances because of inquisitive and curious people, who won't disappear any time soon.
